This Privacy Policy describes how Expense Tracker ("we", "us", or "our") handles your information when you use our mobile application.

1. Information Collection and Storage

Expense Tracker is built with a local-first architecture.

• Local Data Storage: All data you input—including financial transaction titles, amounts, categories, dates, budget limits, and personal 

notes—is stored locally on your device in an encrypted/isolated SQLite database (Room).

• No Server Uploads: We do not collect, transmit, or store any of your financial data or personal information on external servers or cloud 

services.

• No Account Required: You do not need to create an account, log in, or provide personal identifiers (such as name, email, or phone 

number) to use the app.

2. Permissions

The app operates with minimal permissions. It does not require access to your contacts, precise location, camera, or device storage beyond what is 

necessary for standard application execution.

3. Data Retention and Deletion

• Because all data is stored exclusively on your device, you retain full control over your data.

• You can modify or delete individual expenses and categories directly within the app at any time.

• Uninstalling the application or clearing the application data through your device settings will permanently delete all stored expenses and 

budget history.

4. Third-Party Services

The app does not integrate with third-party analytics, tracking SDKs, or advertising networks that track your activity across other applications or 

websites.

5. Security

We prioritize the safety of your information. Because all data remains locally on your device, its security is protected by your device's operating system 

security features (such as PIN, passcode, or biometric locks).

6. Children's Privacy

Our application does not knowingly collect or solicit personal information from children. Since no personal data is collected from any user, children 

can safely use the app without data privacy concerns.

7. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted within this document with an updated "Last updated" date.
